April, Practice Leader
As our practice leader, April loves collaborating with the rest of our excellent team and helping out with the Rutland community’s dental needs. Originally from Orleans Cape Cod, MA, April attended Cape Cod Community College and is certified by the Dental Assisting National Board. She has an impressive 22+ years of experience working in the field of dentistry!
April is married to the wonderful Kristian, and they have a blended family of eight children – five boys and three girls. They live on a small farm with two dogs, seven goats, some chickens, ducks, and a turkey. In her free time, April enjoys all kinds of outdoor activities, like hiking, horseback riding, hunting, gardening, and listening to her husband’s music – he was nominated for the Boston Music Awards! April is also a volunteer firefighter for the Wallingford, VT Fire Department.
Sarah, Front Office Assistant

Tracy, Accounts Receivable Specialist
For the entirety of her 16 years working in the dental field, Tracy has been a vital member of our team. She finds it satisfying to help our practice and our patients with the financial aspects of dental care.
Tracy is initially from Proctor, VT. When she’s not at the office, you can typically find her shopping, reading, traveling, or exercising.
Hilary, Dental Hygienist
With 24 years of dental experience under her belt so far, Hilary cherishes being able to create trusting, long-term relationships with her patients and provide excellent dental care. After growing up on a dairy farm in Pittsford, VT, Hilary studied at the University of Vermont. She has obtained certifications in local anesthesia and laser pocket disinfection.
Hilary has been married to her husband, Greg, for 17 years, and they have three wonderful boys: Will, Wyatt, and Finn. She enjoys spending her free time with her family, particularly attending all of her boys’ sporting events and hiking with her two dogs, who are named Mugs and Lucy.
Janette, Dental Hygienist
Janette has been a member of our Family Dental Associates team for 26 years and counting. She loves forming relationships with her patients and helping them improve and maintain their dental health. She is proud to say she works with some of the best dental professionals in the business! Janette attended Castleton University as well as the New Hampshire Technical Institute, where she completed her dental hygiene training. She is certified in CPR and local anesthesia.
At home, Janette has two boys, aged 21 and 19, and an 11-year-old daughter. They have a dog named Bugsy and two cats – Keanu and Misty. Other than dentistry, Janette’s interests include kayaking, hiking, rock painting, Swarovski crystal figurines, and taking on all sorts of household projects – from painting to plumbing.
Kelly, Dental Hygienist
Kelly has worked at our practice for a handful of years now. She attended Castleton University and graduated from the dental hygiene program at Vermont Technical College. The most satisfying part of her job is removing built-up plaque (also known as calculus) from patients’ teeth, leaving them cleaner and healthier!
Kelly met her husband Anthony while at Castleton, and they’ve been married for five years. They live in Pittsford with their two golden retrievers: Cash and Leera. Kelly loves snowboarding and playing golf in her spare time. Here’s a fun fact: she has competed in Olympic weightlifting and was nationally ranked!
Kylee, Dental Hygienist
Kylee has been a member of our team for about three years so far. By far, her favorite aspect of her job is oral hygiene education. She loves being able to teach her patients about maintaining clean smiles and bettering their dental health. Originally from North Clarendon, VT, Kylee graduated from Vermont Technical College with her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene. She is also certified in local anesthesia.
Kylee lives with her fiancé, Evan, and her two cats, named Piper and Milo. She enjoys yoga, Pilates, and basically anything that involves the outdoors, including gardening, hunting, and fishing.
Susan, Dental Hygienist
Susan has been a Family Dental Associates team member for a decade, but she has 36 years of dental experience in total. She cherishes the relationships she has built with her longtime patients, but she also enjoys the challenge of getting to know a new patient and how to best meet their dental needs; helping them attain a healthier mouth over time is extremely fulfilling. A graduate of the University of Vermont, Susan is certified in local anesthesia and CPR/AED.
Susan has a wonderful grown son – her pride and joy – who lives in North Carolina, and she tries to visit him twice a year. As a native Vermonter who lived in Florida for 20 years, she’s happy to be back “home” in Vermont. She loves walking, hiking, and traveling; she tries to visit one new place each year. In her free time, she likes antiquing and growing flowers and some veggies in her garden.
Vikki, Dental Hygienist
Vikki has worked at our practice for 16 years so far, but she has been in the dental field for nearly twice as long! Helping her patients have healthy smiles is incredibly rewarding to her. She attended the University of Vermont and is licensed to administer local anesthesia.
Born and raised in Danby, VT, Vikki has lived in Vermont for her entire life. She has been married to Rodney for 29 years, and they have three grown children: Carly (27), Ryan (25), and Molly (21). Most of Vikki’s loved ones will say she has a competitive nature; she loves to play board games, card games, and yard games. She has recently started playing disc golf.
Patricia, Dental Assistant
Patricia may have joined our team fairly recently, but her career in dentistry spans four whole decades! She loves being able to help our patients each and every day. She attended Florida Junior College and is an orthodontic expanded functions dental assistant.
Originally from Florida, Patricia moved to Vermont so that she could live here year-round. She is married, and she enjoys making jewelry in her free time.
