Family Dental Associates of Vermont

Dr. KolodzejDr. Kolodzej (Bob) was raised in Endicott, NY and moved to the Rutland area in 1978. He now considers this his hometown.

Dr. Kolodzej graduated with a BS Degree from Niagara University, prior to accepting a fellowship in Biochemical Pharmacology at The University of Buffalo.

A decision for a career change from research to treating in the health field brought him to Fairleigh Dickinson School of Dentistry, Teaneck, NJ, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree (DMD). He then completed a general residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital, New York, NY. Following 2½ years of private practice in the World Trade Center, New York City, Dr. Kolodzej traded the metropolitan area for Vermont and the Vermont lifestyle.

Dr. Kolodzej enjoys all phases of dentistry, such as functional and cosmetic reconstruction, endodontic therapy, with a special interest in surgical procedures (implants, osseous augmentation, and third molar extractions).

He is an active staff member at the Rutland Regional Medical Center, where he utilizes the operating room to treat a variety of patients.

Bob and his wife Laura live in Rutland Town. They enjoy gardening, golf, traveling, cooking all types of food, and spending time with their friends. They enjoy family time with his sons, Rob and Keith, along with stepchildren Amanda and Seth.
